Insurance Plans

Dr. Akerman accepts most major insurance plans, including many PPO plans and HMO plans affiliated with St. Joseph Hospital Affiliated Physicians (SJHAP) and St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group (SJHMG).Your copayment is expected at the time of each visit. The office accepts cash, checks, and most major credit cards. MediCal and MediCaid accepted: please contact our office for details.

Dr. Akerman is affiliated with St. Joseph Hospital of Orange, HOAG (GYN only), Western Medical Center and CHOC (Pediatric and adolescent gynecology). He also has privileges at Surgery Center of Irvine and La Veta Surgical Center.
